Bio

Flownice has a homebase in Santa Fe, NM and since 2001 has been leading the focus on bringing the very foundation of hip hop back to its rightful forefront.

In 2005 FlowNice released "Listen Closely", their debut album.

The album was received with enthusiasm from music reviewers praising both the production and writing behind each track, when asked if they meant to make such a good amateur album the group responded saying, "Yes we meant to make it that way".

After the Listen Closely album, Funkshin aka Kid Eagle a co MC and writer of the album, returned to California to study graphic design after his design for the Listen Closely album received 2 award nominations  In Santa Fe, DJ C-Darth continued working on collaborations with other artists while attempting to pay down student loans.

Initially, DJ C-Darth began to work on an instrumentals album.  Inevitably, in auditioning the music for other MCs songs were formed, hooks were written, and a new project, the FlowNice and Friends album began.

The FlowNice and Friends EP was released in September 2009.

The FNF EP was a showcase of multiple styles, musically rhythmically and melodically.  Again music reviews applauded and noted the consistency of quality.  DJ C-Darth stated simply, "we don't want to record shitty music".  Once again Funkshin created the artwork for the album.

Both albums have been completely independent releases and most of the money does go directly to the group, please support people making good music for you.
